D&C Section 278 Works: Construction of a new roundabout on the existing and busy A61, working off-peak restricted hours on the live carriageway whilst maintaining traffic movement. D&C Section 38 Works: Construction of a new adoptable road from the roundabout to the new care home. The works included; traffic management, bulk earthworks re-using existing material on-site and ground stabilisation to create new embankment, drainage work including a pre-cast concrete box culvert and surface water systems, new carriageway / footpaths / verge construction, street lighting, signs, fencing and enabling works on behalf of statutory undertakers to accommodate service diversions throughout the site.
