SPI Piling Ltd was employed to install a 4 sided cofferdam with 10.0m sheet piles using the excavator and grizzly hammer.
One side of the cofferdam was obstructed at 5.5m above the platform level by a duct bridge, which will remain in place for the duration of the installation works.
On this side the sheet piles were cut in half and structurally re-welded in-situ.
