M25, Junction 23 Improvements

Part of the Highways England delivery programme around the M25, Junction 23 had been highlighted for improvement works to allow better traffic flow on and off the M25, and linked roads at this Junction.
Primarily SPI were employed by Jackson Civil Engineering for the supply 7 Installation of steel sheet piles acting as permanent retaining walls, within the existing verges, thus allowing additional lanes and lane widening to be constructed.
Part of the scheme involved alterations/ diversions to existing buried services. SPI Piling Designed, supplied and installed Launch pits and Reception pits for a new pipe jack that took place.
All works were carried out during both Day and Night shift lane possession works.
Piles were installed by our Grizzly MG90, SideGrip attachment, along with a BSP DX25. TOSA Stillworkers were also utilised where access prevented the use of the excavators.
