A E Yates Trenchless Solutions was formed as a tunnelling contractor in 1995. A E Yates Limited, our civil engineering contractor, had previously carried out these works. However increasing workload and customer demand in the underground engineering sector offered the opportunity to set up a specialist contracting company.

However, as we all know, nothing stays the same forever and market conditions and customer demands have evolved and changed over recent times. To ensure our business remains sustainable we also need to change to reflect this.

Consequently we took the decision to restructure and formed A E Yates Directional Drilling. We now primarily focus on the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technique which is a non intrusive ‘no dig’ method for the installation of pipes and ducts.
