Chapel Street Phase 1, was a £3.8M public realm scheme in partnership with Salford City Council. This scheme was delivered 4 months quicker than planned completion in order to reduce disruption over the Christmas period in a busy area of the city. The project was also delivered within budget.
The project involved the following works:
– Service Diversions
– Installation of cycle ways throughout.
– Traffic signal upgrade and installation.
– Upgrade of kerbing and paving throughout.
– Upgrade of street lighting.
– Upgrade of traffic signs.
– Resurfacing of the existing carriageway.
– Installation of new road markings
– Installation of new tree pits and landscaping areas
