Due to an increase in workload, we are expanding our finance team. At A E Yates we specialise in Civil Engineering and we have been delivering in construction since 1870. Salary: Competitive – to be discussed based on experience. Overtime rates to be discussed.
Contracted hours: Site hours (7.30am to 5.30pm) – could vary dependent on site.
Qualifications:
- CSCS black card or gold card
- First Aid
- SMSTS
- Demonstrated experience on civil engineer project (highways preferably)
Primary Core Duties:
- Creating a high level safety culture on site.
- Supervising various sub-contractors and operatives on site.
- Meeting customer, environmental and stakeholder obligations.
- Daily management on site based construction works – civils and structures.
- Responsible for the utilisation and effective coordination of resource on site such as plant and labour.
- Working closely with the project team to deliver programme dates. Assisting with planning and value engineering throughout the construction phase.
- Participate in site meetings to discuss resource, risk management and planning considerations.
- Ensure safe system of works are in place as well as work permits to ensure the safety on operatives on site.
- Delivery of task briefings, toolbox talks and safety alerts throughout to the workforce.
- Good recording keeping of daily activities.
