A E Yates have recently installed a bridge at Roch Valley Greenway Crossing, Bury and our mission is to give back to the local community and the environment. Therefore, we have planted trees and installed bird feeders/houses for local residents to enjoy for years to come.
This scheme was successfully delivered by A E Yates in collaboration with Wilde Consulting Engineers and CTS Bridges Ltd. through the STAR Procurement Framework. The bridge is supported on CFA piled reinforced concrete bank seats abutments and has a span of 42m with a clear square width of 3.79m between parapets.

There was an original privately-owned bridge nearby used by local cyclists, farmers and visitors to the nearby fishery. However, this older bridge was faulty and then deemed unsafe for public use. At A E Yates we are proud to work on large projects like this in order allow access to local business’ and create a safer transport for the local community.
