We love it when a plan comes together!

Tritech Ground Engineering have consolidated on an excellent 2020 this year and continued our managed growth. As the year comes to a close and we take a few moments to reflect we have reason to be pleased with our performance. This does not mean however that we are satisfied – we will continue to develop and grow to offer our customers the best possible service and range of options. A few of the highlights that we would like to share are;

Restricted Access

Our Restricted Access service is now well established and has had a busy year. The service was set up to deal with unusual, difficult or tight situations not covered by our other services. Typical conditions for restricted access piling include limited headroom, constrained footprints, very close existing structures or where heavy loadings cannot be supported. One of the methods used by the division is CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) piling. In a bit of a return to our origins the division has also carried out larger projects using this technique.

Integrated Foundations

Our in-house designed Integrated Foundation system has been installed on a number of sites across the country and is experiencing high demand. The beam system can be utilised with any of our precast concrete, continuous flight auger, mini piling or open-ended steel tube piles ensuring the benefits of the modular system can be employed on any site requiring our engineered foundations.

The Fleet

In order to meet customer demand our fleet of rigs now runs to a total of nine following the purchase of a further three during the year. The Banut 300 drives precast concrete and steel tubular piles. Another smaller 27tonne precast piling rig brings the current total to four. The smaller physical size and lower bearing pressure exerted by the rig reducing piling platform requirements makes it ideal for residential sites; although its size does not mean reduced performance, it can drive piles to 25m! The midsize LiuGong rig configured to install vibrostone columns complements our similar Kobelco rig. When working together these rigs make short work of most projects.
